MISSION STATEMENT
The primary mission of the RMECDC's Business Development and Resource Center is to provide counseling and technical assistance to small and minority business entrepreneurs.
The Center strives to pursue strategies to support and enhance commercial and small business activities and to create jobs within the community.
GOALS:
- To promote economic advancement and independence of the residents in the target areas of Rocky Mount, Nash and Edgecombe Counties
- To increase growth of minority and small business development
- To increase entrepreneurship in order to produce convenient goods and services for underdeveloped communities
- To develop access to capital
- To focus in the area of skills training, marketing, finance, accounting, construction assistance, and general management.
